About Us
Ellsworth Area Ambulance is an Intermediate Service comprised of volunteer EMT Basics, EMT-Intermediates, and Paramedics from within our community.

- Average Call Volume: 400+ every year
- We serve approximately 10,000 people in an area of 210 square miles.
- We are a very rural community, with a fast growing population, because we are so close to the twin cities metro area.
- We are owned by one municipality, and seven townships
- We are operated by one full time director, Bill Brookshaw, and several volunteers
- Our medical director is Dr. Tashjian of River Falls Area Hospital
